Genting Trip Day 2

Day 2!

Had a hard time waking up in the morning as we slept quite late the night before. Unfortunately for us, it was a public holiday in Malaysia that day. We had to pay more for the Theme Park tickets AND queue for a long time at literally every rides! zzz

First ride of the day: The-Oh-So-Lame-Merry-Go-Round!

Alan: Bleahx!

Sitting on the Spinner!!

Trying not to look scared :P

The Spinner will spin us beyond these restaurants!

While waiting for the Spinner to commence. Waited for a very long time.

Still waiting for the Spinner to start :) That explains why we took so many pictures.

Soon after, the weather starts to turn foggy as we were surrounded by the passing clouds. We realised that we will have to move indoor soon as most of the outdoor rides will be suspended in the case of bad weather.

Foggy sky above the Ferris Wheel

We are going up the Ferris Wheel

Feeling scared? :P

Foggy weather

Alan challenges you to take that ride

Arrrrgghhh!!

With the foggy sky

Feeling cold!

Feeling scared!

Xuan was forced by me to take a ride in the haunted pirate house after much persuasion. It seems pretty scary outside to her that she did not even dare to steal a look when we were inside. In the end, it was just a short and boring ride around the house and we were out within 5 minutes. BAH!

While waiting

Ghostly images taken inside the haunted house!! Oh-so-scary!

A pond in the theme park full of koi-s

One successful jump shot in the air!

Alan's many desperate failed attempts to do a jump shot -_-||

We head off to have a ride on the Ribena tea cups. While waiting for our turn, we spotted a malay guy spinning the cup crazily with all his might. After he managed to get the cup spinning at a very fast speed, he relac in a lazy posture. We find it very hilarious and managed to capture it on video.

Ribena-Tea-Cup

Alan also wan to spin it as fast as the malay guy

Some very kawaii candies we spotted. We loved the spiderman candy! U?

It started to drizzle at this point, so we head off to the indoor theme park instead. We plan to return later as most of the rides at the outdoor theme park was closed temporarily due to bad weather.

We sat on this ride for 3 times!

Getting comfortable on the Ferris Wheel

Alan looking scared...AGAIN!

A ride on the reindeer around the indoor theme park. It was pretty slow and boring. We somehow find that most of the rides in the park are catered for kids.

Sailing past the famous Patronas Towers

Nice view!

We headed out to the outdoor theme park once more after the rain seems to have lightened. Our first stop was the Jumbo Elephant ride, whereby you are able to control your movement, while on the ride. It was pretty fun, as you can move up and down to your own free will, while the ride is spinning.

Xuan on a red Jumbo!

Us together before the ride commences

Our 2nd stop was the legendary Pirate Ship! You will not be able to feel the thrill of the ride until you actually get on the ride itself. Another one of our favourite rides =)

We are sailing on the Pirate Ship!

Next up, we went to my highly-anticipated Go-Kart ride. However, Xuan wasn't able to join me as her height was below the limit stated. Poor Girl. Nevertheless, she was happy taking the picture for me, even though she waited for quite some time as the queue was pretty long. However, it was not as fun as I had expected. I believe those who have driven a real car before would know what I mean. Heh heh.

Alan 'enjoying' the long-awaited go-kart ride

I am number 1!! All the way!!

Our next stop is Dinosaurland! It was a slow boat ride into the world of dinosaurs and we waited for quite some time too, as the boat ride was really slow and there was quite a number of people before us.

Off to Dino-land!

Taken while waiting for the boat to be back

RAAWWWWWWRRR!

An ancient elephant

Alas! Not long after, the sky starts to turn misty again. We knew the clouds are coming back again.

The sky starts to turn misty again

We tried to enjoy as many rides as possible at the outdoor theme park before it starts to turn foggy again. The next ride in our path is the river boat ride. We had a leisure ride for about 15mins, while enjoying the scenery.

Boating on the river of the theme park

Alan does the cycling :P

As it gets foggy again, we head off the a nearby chocolate shop, where they sell a wide range of chocolate, which are not available in Singapore.

Hot chocolate dripping on Xuan's head!

Huge clock at Beryl's chocolate shop

See how far can she reach

See how far can he reach

Xuan, the EGGY!

We headed back to our hotel room soon after for a short break. We packed some food back and enjoy dinner in the cosy of our room.

The classic knocking-on-da-door pose

Alan does it too =)

Took a pic together before heading out again

We head off to the bumper car ride and it was Xuan's 1st time in her 21 years sitting on a bumper car! Can you believe it! Since it was her 1st time and the queue was pretty short, we actually sat on the ride for 3 times.

Fun at the bumper car ride

Xuan: My 1st time! So fun!

Next, we went on another boat cruise, but this time is around the indoor theme park. Our boat was sailed by a replica boatman.

Row, row, row the boat

Is he really sailing the boat?

Beautiful scenery

Lovely!

Posing with the mermaid

Lazing on the river cruise

It was already pass midnight by now. The themepark extended its opening hours till 1am as it was a public holiday. We went to have a ride at the indoor Ferris Wheel once more as we had already completed all the other rides available.

Our waxed hands

Love it so much

Yea! I won a pair of hands!

That concludes our Day 2 activities. It's back to the room for a rest to prepare for departure back to Singapore tommorow. We gonna miss the cold weather so much.
