disgusting 4 and 5

I think im so-going to presentation again for my International business PBL
I hate week 4 & week 5, it is such a hectic week for us.
The list below is what we have to hand in during week 5:
Thursday
Data Analyze Presentation for Business Analytics & Intelligence
PBL Presentation for International Business
Friday
Bazaar Presentation for Enterprise Creation and Development
1-Page Report for Enterprise Creation and Development
Intrim Report for International Business

Report for Service Logistics Management

p.s. Did my International Business presentation today which suck to the core. Never had a well prepared answer for question 4 and 5. So-unfortunate that when Elena drew lots, she chose question 4 and 5, omg~

p.p.s. Hate class that end on 4pm and 5pm because class end this late that attract super duper alot of people who are taking the same bus as me!

Outings over the last weeks (Part 1)

We went for dinner at Thomson area 2 weeks ago with Alvin and Nortilla after our work. It was one 'memorable' night as we met some uncivilised hooligans 'supposedly' from NTU as some of them was wearing the NTU T-shirt. Unfortunately, we did not capture the whole incident on video, as it happened too fast and we did not have the time to react. Otherwise, it would have been on STOMP by now, for all to see how our local Undergrads behave in public. Basically, what happened was the 4 of us (Alan, Xuan, Norti and Alvin) were seated beside this group of 3 guyz and a ger at this small ice-cream parlour called Eski-mo at the area. Thereafter, Thomas (Norti's BF) joined us at the table and Alvin had to shift slightly to create more space for Thomas to be seated. It was all peaceful for awhile, until one of those NTU students came over to confront us on how we had intruded into their line of privacy, by shifting into 'their area'. (Note: They had already finished their ice-cream by the time they speak up, which makes us realise they just wanted to find trouble with us.) He spoke in a tone like a barbarian and even challenged us to argue outside. Needless to say, we were sensible enough not to leave our ice-cream, which had just arrived and head out to argue with some senseless creep. He was the only one among those 4, creating all the commotion, but the other 3 of them made no effort to stop him, as their expression showed they were quite unhappy with us, though they were not as barbaric as their friend. After arguing for some time, they left after failing to provoke us. It's quite sad to see Undergrads behaving in such ways and made people wonder if the Local Universities should include Civics and Morale Education back into their syllabus, to teach their students how they should behave in public (especially when they are wearing shirts with their school logo on it). By behaving in the way they are, it reflects badly on the school's image, considering the fact that they are one of the top Universities in the world.

We worked for a full day on one of the weekends a week ago and we head off to Suntec for dinner during our breaks. We had dinner at Astons @ Suntec, before heading off to the arcade there. It was our 1st visit together with the peeps to the arcade and it was apretty good harvest. Uncle Meng Zhong caught 2 soft toys for Xuan and Nortilla without much effort from the UFO machine. They were so excited that everyone in the arcade was literally looking at us when the soft toys were caught.

Another movie outing

We watched 17 Again today at Lot 1 Shaw Cinema. Was expecting the usual teenage idol movie focusing around Zac Efron, with some dumb storylines, as in High School Musical. However, we were quite impressed with some of the humour in the movie as they managed to get the whole theatre tickled with its fresh humour. The only ironic part is how Zac Efron looks so different, with none of his good boyish looks, when he turns 35, as portrayed by Matthew Perry. It would have been more convincing, had the casting team did a better job when looking for an older version of Zac when filming the movie. Overall, I would still rate it as 3/5 for another rather interesting body-changing plot.

Trip to Singapore Flyer!

We went on our much-awaited trip to the Singapore Flyer on the last day of April. Alan had bought the tickets much earlier, with the intention of taking the ride on his birthday, which is on the 4th of April. However, due to Xuan's trip to Beijing during that period, we had to postpone our ride all the way till the eve of labour day! Before heading to the flyer, we had dinner at Manhatten Fish Market and did abit of shopping at Plaza Singapura. It was packed everywhere that night, as it is the eve of Labour Day. Most of the cubicles are filled to the brim.

Manhatten Fish Market!

Shhh...don't tell nobody

Bleahx!

Eagerly waiting for the food

Precious Moment

Unfortunately for us, our camera, as well as BOTH our handphone batteries went flat after awhile and these are the limited number of good moments we managed to capture.

beijing trip

Need a rest after coming back from China, need to wait for my friends to send me those pictures, busy with work, busy celebrating friend's birthday and then school reopen! Excuses and more excuses, Haha. I'm just plain lazy! :) Well, here are my long overdued China trip pictures which are quite messed up but enjoy ya! Wouldn't write too much about it and i just wanna say:

SHOPPING IN CHINA WAS GREAT!

SO-GREAT!

Beijing International Airport, and the oh-so-super-duper-uber-cold-weather!

I am in China!

Our meal in the hostel, which is oh-so-not-nice
Vegetables are too salty
Soup is too bland
Meat is too little
Rice is so-so only,
and that concludes my view for the meal

Went to a nearby convenience store to shop for tibits!

The streets of China

Hell lots of people in China

Grinning happily :)

Went to Carrefour to shop for gloves cause it's freaking cold in Beijing! However, I can't find any gloves there, even when they sell anything from head to toe! Ironic right?! In the end, we bought all sorts of stuff like chips, pudding, bag, shoes and even tonics for the elderly (mainly by Huiling, cause she kept telling us that she has to buy souveniers for her relatives! Cannot stand her!)

Shopping at Carrefour!

Had a wonderful exchange program with the local students. They are really a group of wonderful friends we made in China. Special thanks to Queenie for bringing us to Xi Dan to buy lots of goods, Yi Fei for accompanying us to several companies, and Shin Lin for translating the conversations to us!

Special thanks!

Us :)

Queenie brought us on a tour around Beijing Jiao Tong University. We took freaking alot of pictures and I think everyone around the campus was looking at us, even our friends!

Jump shot is so fun!

Queenie told us to climb to the top, and commented that it's a nice shot!

Business IT students! Jump!

For the next few days, we went to visit quite a number of attractions, such as Olympics Ice-cube and Birdnest Stadium, Summer Palace and The Great Wall of China. The Ice-cube trip was quite a boring one. We went into the 'ice cube' with the rest of the crowd and we only get to sit in the stadium for like freaking 5mins, so disappointing! However, we had a wonderful time scaling the Great Wall of China, though its super steep. Somehow we managed to reach the summit, after much determination!

Classic view of the jetty

An ancient building

Munching away after so much walking

Nice sky!

After all the boring walks around the ancient palace, we took the train down to shopping paradise again! The train was super crowded as it was a public holiday. We overheard this funny fact that everyone on the train was saying "Alighting first, board later!" Cool man, Singaporeans should learn this too.

Spot me!

The Great Wall of China

Wind there was super strong!

The oh-so-long-Great Wall of China

See how steep it is!

Nice view

Great weather

You will never imagine how many people there are!!

Made this super nice mug for Ms Ang!

Had lunch at this restaurant which they say is the BEST there!

Final day!

Went to Xin Dan even till the last day of our Beijing trip. The things over there are so freaking cheap that you can buy the whole shop down! It is fun bargaining there too, an item which costs Y200, can be reduced till Y60 only, which is only about $12. We were so crazy shopping for stuff over there and there are so many things that we can buy, mainly bags, shirts, pants, bags, heels and shoes. I would like to go back again!

Having our meal at Xindan MacDonald

Last day!

We love Beijing!

My father, mother and Alan went to the airport to fetch me on my arrival at Singapore. As it was pouring that day and my dad was driving a lorry with only 2 seaters at the front, Alan had to suffer in the rain at the back of the lorry. Poor Alan was drenched by the time we got home.
