The long-awaited sequel to the hilarious 2006 hit Night at the Museum was not as fresh as its first. Although the humour is still sufficient to tickle the crowd, it was pretty much the same as those in the first movie. It lacks the sense of freshness it gave to its supporters, but sequels are naturally inclined towards this direction. The element of surprise of discovery it provides in the first film is also gone, which resulted in a slight disappointment in this sequel. Nevertheless, the inclusion and marvellous performance of Amy Adams and some excellent special effects makes the movie a worthwhile entertainment. Therefore, we would give it 3/5.
